15U players reflect on recent Spokane tournament...
...in which LVA 15U Girls placed 11th in the Open Division at the PNQ (Spokane, WA)—and received the National Div bid in early part of March from our Region (Moku O Keawe) to the National Championship in New Orleans, LA on June 24-27, 2015.
|Erica: Special thanks to my coaches and my mom for taking good care of us! I thought that this tournament was a great learning experience, the competition was tough but we had some really great plays in this "open division" being my first time and it wasn't too bad we had some close sets with the top teams which felt great! Overall we made great memories together as a team should!
|Camre: This trip has been a great experience & I liked the competition & exposure we got. Thank you Coach Bubba & Coach Gimi & Aunty Joleen. Thank you Dad for helping our team out with all your support.
|Kylee: I personally feel that this trip was a great experience for all of us. I think we could have done better if we all worked together as a team and played tighter. Thank you Coach Gimi, Coach Bubba, and Aunty Joleen for this amazing opportunity!
|Jasmine: I felt this was a good learning experience for me and my team. We struggled playing together for most of the tournament because the other teams were much more competitive, but came together on the last day. Our team also didn't play to our best ability. We need to train & work harder on our own as well. I would also like to thank the coaches, parents + mama Jo for making this possible. I would also like to thank my grandparents for coming out and supporting us + God for bringing us all here safely and giving us the opportunity to play.
